This is pretty exciting for me — they just released the official movie trailer for the film my artwork appears in. Ladies and gentlemen, “Abduction”, starring Taylor Lautner.

All I know is that several of my drawings are hanging amongst the bedroom decor, so when you see this movie with all of your friends and family (because you know you want to see that hunk of werewolf meat dodge bullets and explosives) KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!

Two big shows this weekend!

I’ll be returning to Ohio for a lovely Cleveland Handmade Market called the Last Minute Market. The event runs from 10am to 6pm, is free to get into, and there’s a boatload of awesome vendors.

The $5 early bird admission (9am to 10am) gets donated to the Hunger Network. Come hang, Cleveland.

On Sunday I’ll be heading back East to Utica, NY for the Holiday Indie Garage Sale. I’ll only be vending during one of the two days, but don’t let that stop you from going twice!

The Northside Urban Partnership is an urban revitalization collaborative dedicated to engaging diverse groups of people and organizations in turning the Northside of Syracuse right-side up. We’re about making the Northside an exciting destination to visit and a solid place to call home.

Proud to show you an idea that’s been in the works for several weeks now. I was commissioned to create a piece to be installed in the kitchen of Northside UP’s workspace and office building in Syracuse. Briana Kohlbrenner (owner of Craft Chemistry) suggested this amazingly unique hanging plate idea, and asked me to draw a giant octopus to complete the design. I am so pleased with the outcome!

Salt City Urban Art & Craft Market - October 23rd, 2010

This past Saturday was the Salt City Urban Art & Craft Market on the north side of my very own city, Syracuse, NY. It was such a spectacular event and the best craft show I’ve done thus far. I had an amazing time meeting both local vendors and residents of the city I love so much. The area has been aching for something like this to pop up, and the girls who put on the show created an event that went well beyond anyone’s expectations! Tons of people came out to buy handmade and it was great to see everyone so excited to support local talent. I am incredibly proud to say that I was a part of it, and I will be counting down the days until next years market.

A big special wonderfully warm thank you to my friends Briana and Jason Kohlbrenner, Vanessa Rose, Stasya Panova, and Courtney Rile for putting this all together and for everyone else involved in the shows huge success!
